All Things Are Possible

Mary believed in the impossible.  When the angel told her she would bear the son of God, Mary responded in faith: “Behold, the maidservant of the Lord!  Let it be to me according to your word.”  (Luke 1:38). Mary contrasts another woman in a somewhat similar circumstance.  Many years before angels appeared to this woman’s husband to announce a miraculous birth.  However, her response was not one of faith, but doubtful laughter.  God proved to Sarah he could do the impossible.

Mary had faith that what God promised, He is also able to perform (Romans 4:21).  What about us?  Do we have faith that God can and will do the impossible?  What impediments do we have that may be hindering our belief?
