We now move onto the exciting lessons of Joseph in our Sunday School studies. Our first lesson of Joseph covers the early life of Joseph, how his brothers treated him when they saw he was the favorite and how their hatred for Joseph led them into selling him as a slave.

Year-Long Lapbook Project

There are two flaps for our lapbook this week. The first one is a fun flap that has each of the sons of Jacob behind a little window flap (thanks to Karen P. for drawing all the men!) There is a lot of cutting involved with this first flap and it would be handy to have an exacto / stanley knife!
The second flap has the two dreams that Joseph had about his family. These dreams aren’t covered in detail in the CSSA lesson book, but I decided to talk about them as part of my lesson.
