Yahweh is a God who stretches out His hand to save everyone who seeks Him. In this week’s lesson we will learn about the last and most dreadful plague Yahweh brought about the Egypt for the stubbornness of Pharaoh. If Pharaoh was not willing to let God’s son (the nation of Israel) leave Egypt, then as a consequence, Pharaoh would lose his own son. We will also learn that leaving Egpyt (the world) behind was not good enough. The nation needed to cross the Red Sea (symbolic of baptism) and sojourn in faith until they reached the Promised Land.

Lesson 20
There is one activity for the lapbook for Lesson 20. It is a fold-out flap which shows a door. The kids have to draw blood on the doorposts and lintel. Inside there are questions to answer about the Passover.

Lesson 21
There are two activities for the lapbook for Lesson 21. One is an accordion flap which shows the Red Sea before Israel crossed, and when God made a dry path appear (thanks to Karen P. for drawing this for us!). The other flap has a craft involved … make a pillar of cloud (out of cotton wool or something similar) and a pillar of fire out of cellophane or tissue paper.
