This week’s lesson shows how God cares for His people in the wilderness. The lesson is full of lessons showing how all the “bitterness” (Mara) of this life can be overcome by the “living water” in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Please refer to this post which outlines the memory verse system we are using this year for Primary Stage 1.

Year-Long Lapbook Project
(Please refer to this post for details on the lapbook project.)
There is one activity for the lapbook this week. It is a shutter fold flap with three pictures inside which show different ways God provided for the children of Israel in the wilderness … water at Marah, manna and quails (thanks to Karen P. for the drawings).
Click here to download the PDF of the two flaps. There are instructions for printing and folding the flaps in the PDF document.
Thanks to Kate B. for sharing these practical challenges.
Each week we hope to share a practical challenge that can be incorporated into the lesson or as homework.
Lesson 22 – Practical Challenge
In case you’ve forgotten, two dedicated Sunday School teachers have very useful Pinterest pages that link directly to the CSSA program. Each week we will share direct links to the Pinterest boards so you can quickly and easily get quality ideas if needed.
