In today’s lesson we see how quickly the children of Israel failed to keep themselves holy and obey God’s commands. We’ll learn how corruption of doctrine led to a corruption of practice and the importance of keeping our hearts wholly on serving our God. Moses will also be a powerful example to us of the selfless devotion he showed to his ecclesial family.

Year-Long Lapbook Project
(Please refer to this post for details on the lapbook project.)
There are two activities for the lapbook this week. One is a pop-up card with the golden calf and a fill-in-the-blank inside. The other is a flapbook with questions about the golden calf.
Click here to download the PDF of the two flaps. There are instructions for printing and folding the flaps in the PDF document.
Thanks to Kate B. for sharing these practical challenges.
Each week we hope to share a practical challenge that can be incorporated into the lesson or as homework.
