Making the Bible Come Alive with Drama

You don’t have to look far in our Heavenly Father’s creation to see that our God is one who has an incredible imagination. The variety and detail of our natural creation tells us so much about our Heavenly Father.

God anticipates that we will use our imagination when reading the Bible. He has purposely written the details of Bible stories in such a way that encourages us to use our imagination. The more the stories come alive, the more power there is for good to transform our lives.

In all of this of course, we have to be very careful to stay true to God’s word, and not invent things that didn’t take place. If used correctly however, combining our imagination and our faith to His word can help us create a clearer picture of Biblical events, and a stronger vision.  The stronger our vision, the stronger our ability will be to remain faithful to the end.

Plays & Dramatic Presentations are one way to use our imagination to help make the Bible come alive. Over the next couple of months we hope to share different drama presentations which can be used in a variety of settings. Some of the presentations were done for Sunday Schools (large and small), Christadelphian Heritage Schools, homeschool co-ops and even Bible schools.

Bro. Ken Styles has an easy to listen to, thought provoking class titled The Power of Imagination for Good.
