In this week’s Sunday School lesson we will learn of the importance of following God with our whole heart. We will see how Saul, even though he started down the right path towards righteousness, let his pride and insecurities lead him, rather then following God’s instructions.

Each week we hope to share a practical challenge that can be incorporated into the lesson or as homework.
Lesson 19 – Practical Challenge
God says in the bible “children obey your parents”. If we don’t do exactly as we’re asked by our parents, then not only are we disobeying them, but we’re disobeying God too! Let’s try extra hard to listen carefully to what we’re asked to do and do it EXACTLY as we should!
In case you’ve forgotten, two dedicated Sunday School teachers have very useful Pinterest pages that link directly to the CSSA program. Each week we will share direct links to the Pinterest boards so you can quickly and easily get quality ideas if needed.
“Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”
