If anyone had to endure adverse circumstances, it was Jesus. He was misunderstood, maligned, and plotted against. He helped others to the point of his own exhaustion. He knew what crucifixion was and that it awaited him. He never complained or was shaken from his purpose, because he had absolute trust in the goodness of God.
