Two Year Milestone and New Banner

Dear Reader,

This week marks the two-year milestone since this website began.  For this milestone, we’ve replaced the website banner graphic with an original banner that has been specifically created to incorporate spiritual themes that represent the intent of the site.

A lot has changed for “Magnify Him Together” in the past two years.  It has grown from just a new, hopeful idea to a compilation of hundreds of Biblical resources for teachers, parents, sisters, teens, and kids – from contributors all over the world.

Two years has brought a lot of change in our lives and likely in yours, too.  Whether you’re currently still in isolation or in a place where restrictions are starting to be lifted, we have all been given reason lately to seriously consider the uncertainty of this life.  Any illusion of control in our lives has been stripped away.  And yet while seasons come and seasons go, each bringing their own sweeping changes, we turn our eyes to the One in whom we can trust – the One who will forever remain the same.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.  Psalm 125:2

Mountains, lofty and protecting, stand unchanging against the landscape of generations.  And so it is with our God.  How fitting it is that God’s unchanging Promise is represented by a stone that destroys man’s fragile kingdoms, to become a mountain filling the whole earth with God’s glory and praise (Daniel 2:35).

The Psalmist says “From the rising of the sun to its going down the LORD’S name is to be praised.” (Psalm 113:3).  Throughout all our days, whether in moments of warm sunshine, bitter storms, or evening shades, we lift our lives to praise and magnify Him whose unfailing compassion and faithfulness towards us are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).  All the while, we wait for the new Day when the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings – never again to set (Isaiah 60:20).

Lastly the birds soaring together in the heights of the heavens points to the exceeding riches God has given us by raising us up together to the heavenlies in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:6) so that we seek those things which are above.   The imagery also illustrates the future time described in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Till then together we wait… for the New Morning that begins an eternity of praising and Magnifying Him Together.
