Chapter 15 – The Celebration
Having decorated Paradise and practised their parts, the show is ready to begin. On their way to watch, Evan and the Professor discuss a new student that is asking lots of questions in his first year of university and who doesn’t readily accept Jacques Lemans’ intelligent answers. The beach boys participate in the show reluctantly, questioning its purpose. The heroes are rewarded for their courage. However, the beautiful thank you song at the end brings the Professor to tears. Evan believes their ‘objectivity’ in the enormous experiment may have been lost.
