In the Brantford Teen Sunday School Class we will be looking at the subject “Yahweh is My Helper” which is a study based on the Ways of Providence by Robert Roberts.
This class will follow the Junior Elpis Israel format, with lots of hands-on Bible Marking and Bible Study. We will be learning how to use concordances and other resources such as Gesenius’, Thayer’s, Vines and other Lexicons and Bible Dictionaries. We will also discuss various translations that can aid in understanding, such as the Diaglott, Young’s Literal Translation, the RSV, the ESV, the RV, and many others.
We will not be reading the book around, but researching the passages brother Roberts puts forward as evidence of God’s hand at work in our lives.
This is a very practical study but touches on important First Principles such as the nature of God. Bible Inspiration. Who the Angels are, how they operated in the past, and how they operate today.
We encourage young people to join in the study, with Bible open, bible marking pens at the ready, and pause the video to take notes and perhaps mark things into our Bibles.
