During 2026, write out a verse selection every day that will help you to understand the mercy of our God better!
The verses are selected to provide a study of the topic of chesed – a Hebrew word translated into English words such as mercy or lovingkindness in the Bible. Write out verses that speak of what chesed is, how it is described and how it is demonstrated. Learn how it relates to salvation, the difference between God’s chesed and human chesed, and what we can ask God to do because of His chesed. Explore how David spoke of God’s chesed, how it is related to God’s covenant, and how God wants us to respond. Finally, see how humans do or don’t show chesed, and end with our great example of God’s chesed in the Lord Jesus Christ.
