CSSA Stage 2 – Junior Lesson 22: David & Jonathan

David & Jonathan (CSSA Junior Stage 2 Lesson 22)

Two souls knit together – Jonathan & David loved each other so deeply because they were both devoted first to God’s principals and their love for each other was a natural extension of a spiritual mind. In this week’s Sunday School lesson we will learn about about one the finest examples of a Godly friendship in scripture. The meek and self-sacrificial spirit of Jonathan is perfectly matched in the loving devotion of David.

Practical Challenge

Thanks to Kate B. for sharing these practical challenges.

Each week we hope to share a practical challenge that can be incorporated into the lesson or as homework.

Lesson 22 – Practical Challenge

David and Jonathan both loved God and became good and loyal friends.  Think about what it means to be a good friend.

Also think of some people who you can trust and would be able to talk to if you were ever worried or unhappy or needed help. Talk about these things with your mum and dad.
