Free Bible Images Review

This is a wonderful Bible image library for Sunday School teaching, Bible Schools, use at home etc.  The images are a great resource of visual aids for many Bible stories.  The images are free to download and use for teaching purposes.

You can search by book of the Bible, character, theme and contributor.  I typically use the images submitted by “Sweet Publishing”.  I have found them to be accurate for the stories I have used so far.

There are different ways to download the images and this will depend how you plan to use them:

  • Individual JPEGs.
  • PowerPoint – includes all the images in a particular story – one image per slide.
  • PDF – includes all the images in a particular story – one image per page.
  • Story Planner – includes all the images in a particular story with a short explanation to go along with each image. This is a PDF file and has about 5 smaller images per page.
  • Story View – includes the image and a short story that goes along with it. This view is primarily for mobile devices.

There are so many ways you can use the images.  Here are just a few ways we have used them … to create jigsaw puzzles, sequencing activities, mini books, title page for lapbooks, Avery stickers.
