In this week’s Sunday School lesson we will be learning about how God gave His laws, and commandments to Israel, His chosen people. The Law of Moses was given to guide the people in the ways of holiness and God promised them that if they kept His voice they would be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

Year-Long Lapbook Project
(Please refer to this post for details on the lapbook project.)
There are two activities for the lapbook this week. One is a flap which shows the tables of stone with the ten commandments on them. The other shows the breakdown of the ten commandments.
Click here to download the PDF of the two flaps. There are instructions for printing and folding the flaps in the PDF document.
Thanks to Kate B. for sharing these practical challenges.
Each week we hope to share a practical challenge that can be incorporated into the lesson or as homework.
Lesson 23 – Practical Challenge
In case you’ve forgotten, two dedicated Sunday School teachers have very useful Pinterest pages that link directly to the CSSA program. Each week we will share direct links to the Pinterest boards so you can quickly and easily get quality ideas if needed.
“The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”
